Danielle Nici, DDS, MS
Meet Dr. Nici
Dr. Danielle Nici was born and raised in Long Island, New York. She attended the University of New York at Geneseo where she earned her BS in Biology. Her interest in periodontology sparked during the following year where she worked as a surgical assistant in a private periodontal practice. Dr. Nici attended NYU College of Dentistry where she received her DDS in 2019. Following that, Dr. Nici attended the University of Oklahoma where she earned her Certificate in Periodontics and Master of Science degree. Dr. Nici is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology and Southwest Society of Periodontics.
As a dental student and resident, Dr Nici was recognized for her academic excellence as well as trusted with leadership roles. While in dental school, she received the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Award for Outstanding Academic Performance during Freshman year and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, National Honorary Dental Society. During residency, Dr. Nici was the recipient of the Merit Tuition Waiver Award for demonstrating high academic performance, strong leadership skills, and excellent rapport with patients, faculty, and staff. She also received the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Probst-Felton Award. She served as Chief Resident in her final year.
Dr. Nici’s practice covers the entire scope of periodontal therapy which consists of the treatment of gum disease, cosmetic periodontal plastic procedures, bone and gum grafting, dental implant surgery, and IV sedation.
Since moving to Oklahoma, Dr. Nici has come to love the Midwest. So much so, she limited her job search to only the Midwest. She enjoys sharing her passion for dentistry by educating and treating her patients and looks forward to making an impact on the community in Iowa.
When not in the office, Dr. Nici enjoys spending her free time with her fiancé (Travis), and their dog (Scotti). She is very passionate about living an active life including lifting weights in the gym and enjoying the outdoors/dog parks with Scotti.
