Financial Information

At Periodontal Associates of Eastern Iowa, our doctors and staff are proud to be a team whose primary mission is to deliver the finest and most comprehensive periodontal services available today. We are concerned about your dental care and want to ensure you that it is performed in the most responsible manner.

We understand that periodontal and dental implant treatment can be expensive, and we will do everything we can to make treatment as affordable as possible, including:

Insurance Submission

At Periodontal Associates of Eastern Iowa we accept most all dental insurance plans, and as a courtesy to you, we will submit insurance claims on your behalf.  Insurance coverage for periodontal procedures can vary significantly depending on the specific service, employer coverage, and insurance plan.  Typically, we are able to determine an estimation of benefits the same day as the consultation appointment.  For some services an insurance pre-authorization is recommended, through which we can submit the recommended treatment plan to the insurance company for a written guarantee of the extent of coverage.

In-office Payment plans

Certain treatment is eligible for monthly payment plans through our office.  Typically, 50% of the cost is requested at the time of treatment, and monthly payment arrangements can be made for the remaining balance.  Please do not hesitate to discuss this with our front office team!

Care Credit

Care Credit is a “credit” card specifically for medical expenses.  It creates special financing options related to your treatment needs.  Apply online (www.carecredit.com) or in our office.  Our staff are happy to discuss this option and help you set up an account.

Convenient Payment options

For your convenience, payments may be made with cash, personal check, and bank draft, Discover, Visa, or MasterCard. If you have any problems or questions, please ask our staff. They are well informed and up-to-date. They can be reached by phone at Iowa City Phone Number 319-337-3588 or by fax at 319-351-8348.  Please call if you have any questions or concerns regarding your initial visit.
